Applications

For the connection of hoisting and hauling systems and similar equipment using positive cable guidance, under high mechanical loads in dry and damp areas,outdoors and in areas with a high risk of explosions. Their special design features make these cables particularly suitable for operations involving frequent reeling and unreeling or where cables are constantly deflected over pulleys (cable tenders).

Cables must be connected free of torsion.Tensile stresses arising at the cable ends during operation must be suitably relieved and conducted to the tensile elements within the cable.Stationary pulleys bearing two turns of cable have proved well suited for this purpose. S-shaped turns should be avoided wherever possible both during laying and within the cable guidance system.
