Application

Cross-Link Type RHH Wire/RHW Wire can be used in aerial, raceway or direct burial allocations. USE-2 Solar Wire is commonly used as solar power cable in green energy applications. The cross-linked insulation is a general purpose, chemically cross linked polyethylene compound combining the best properties of rubber and polyethylene to provide a thermosetting material with excellent thermal, electrical and physical properties.

Standards

RHH Wire & RHW Wire meets U.L. 44 standard for rubber covered wire, as well as standard 854 for service entrance cable. The construction and components of Type RHH Wire & RHW Wire conform to Federal Govt. Specification J-C-30A. The solid copper conductors are made to ASTM-B-3 and the standard conductors to ASTM-B-3 and -6.
